I’m SO excited and delighted to be hosting another TAI CHI & TRANQUILITY WEEKEND at Teach Bhride! Fifteen gorgeous guests joined me there in July 2024 and we enjoyed a relaxing, energising and fun ALL-INCLUSIVE WEEKEND of DAILY TAI CHI, CHI KUNG, SOUND BATHS & LOVING KINDNESS MEDITATIONS and more….

The price €385pp includes:
- 2-nights en-suite accommodation / single occupancy
- Full Board: 2 breakfasts/2 lunches /2 dinners plus scones for “elevenses” and unlimited teas/coffees/biccies! (Gluten free/ veggie/ vegan / dairy free can be catered for).
- Daily Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation classes incl Loving Kindness practice and Mindful Walking.
- Daily soothing Sound Bath sessions with Tibetan Bowls

Everyone is welcome and no experience is required. Be kind to your body and mind with the flowing and gentle – yet also invigorating and strengthening – movements which are suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes! And if you’re new to meditation, rest assured that each session will be relaxed and guided. We’ll also be exploring the theme of “Loving Kindness” and techniques including meditations, self-Indian Head massage and the soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls during our “Sound Bath” sessions. In between our classes there will be plenty of time to relax, enjoy your surroundings and explore the local village and area. I can’t wait!!

Situated in the town of Tullow, Co Carlow, nestled in the grounds of the Brigidine Convent, Teach Bhride Holistic Education Centre is the ideal place to take time out from the stresses and pressures of modern living. The beautiful rolling gardens with mature trees and ample seating areas help to create a soothing ambience for reflection and relaxation away from the incessant distractions of everyday life.
Teach Bhride supports people in their desire to live full and meaningful lives in harmony with themselves, with others and with the Earth. The centre is committed to the development of the whole person, integrating body, mind, spirit and feelings, and providing opportunities for people to grow and find meaning in a way that is appropriate to the uniqueness of each person.
Brigid of Kildare (c.452-525) is the patroness of the Brigidine nuns and of those who have a care for the earth, for justice and equality, for peace and reconciliation. And her life and work is now commemorated by the public holiday for St Brigid’s Day in February each year.
OUR ROOMS – all rooms are cosy and comfortable and designed for single occupancy with your own en-suite bathroom. Each has a view of the grounds.
OUR MEALS – Three substantial meals a day and home baked scones for elevenses are provided as well as unlimited self-service tea/coffee/herbals.
Breakfast is self-service with a selection of cereals, bread/toast, fruit, yoghurts etc Lunches and dinners are absolutely delicious “home-cooked” meals such as lasagne, curry, roast dinner with plenty of salads, veggies and fruit etc. Dinner includes dessert too! The final menu for our weekend has yet to be confirmed.
There are fridges and cupboards for our use so feel free to bring your favourite herbal teabags, treats and snacks for the weekend too!
NB. Dietary needs and variations for veggie / vegan / gluten free / dairy free can be catered for – pls advise when booking your place.
BOOKING & PAYMENTS: Full-fee €385pp is ALL-INCLUSIVE
A deposit of €95pp secures your place (if booking before 31st Jan 2025) You can pay online below, by Revolut to +353 86 878 5212 (preferred method) or by card over the phone. NB, The deposit is non-refundable – see below for Cancellation Policy.
The balance of €290pp is due 28 days before the event – no later than Fri 31st January 2025. NB. If booking your place on or after Fri 31st Jan 2025 then the full-fee is payable.
Final instalment payment options:
1) By LODGING DIRECTLY into my AIB business account either at a bank branch or via internet banking. I will send a receipt by email when the funds arrive.

3) By debit/credit card ONLINE below. This will incur a +¢6pp Euro card payment fee. You’ll get an automated receipt.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- The deposit of €95pp is completely non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the event organiser or venue*
- By paying your deposit and booking your place you confirm that you have read and understood this cancellation policy.
- Any cancellations made 28 days or more prior to the event (BEFORE Fri 31st Jan 2025) will receive a full refund of the retreat fee MINUS €95 deposit which will not be refunded.
- Any cancellations made less than 28 days prior to the event (ON or AFTER 31st Jan 2025) will be charged at 100% of the retreat fee.
- If you cannot attend and you have someone else who would like attend the retreat in your place, I will try wherever possible to transfer your place to them.
- Or if you wish to transfer to another of my weekends at the same venue during 2025, I will also do my utmost to do this for you. Transfers cannot be made to events beyond 2025.
- NB.*If the event is cancelled by the venue or myself then you will receive a FULL refund including your deposit.
